    very very very very very slow service dosen"t matter what you are going to buy what happened to walk up to counter buy what you want & walk out, it dosent exist . when you enter the store you are greeted by an employee with an ipad, the employee will ask what you are there for & take your name then you have to stand around for at least 20-25 mins waiting for someone to serve you I went in to buy prepaid internet should've taken no more than 5-10 mins. I walked out after standing there for 23 mins. You need to take a picnic lunch & 2 change of clothes when you go here. That's how long it will take you.. Who ever made the system the way it is now should be sacked . I ended going to BIg W and buy pre paid internet was in and out with in 10mins.

    When we came back we were introduced to Jessica, she solved our issues and provided an upgrade to our mobile internet and saved us $10 a month on what we had.

    Happy to sign you up for plans at whatever cost, including lying about nbn speed that you're unable to get. And when you try to fix the issue they send you around the world with people you need to talk to get it fixed. No loyalty and provide services that are not worth the price they ask.

    If i could give a lower star rating i would i found the staff werent helpful at all and for the phone i was looking at it was $692 yet found exact same one with more gigs for $449 at the post office in young. Telstra providers are pathetic they wanted to charge my elderly father $70 to unlock a $69 phone then when he requested for them to not worry and asked if they could set his sim up as he was unaware how to they wanted to charge him $30 to do it even though it was a telstra phone from their telstra shop in saying that the post office in young helped him free of charge. I'd never go back to telstra let alone step foot in the young telstra shop again.

    I recently went to the Young Telstra Shop to buy a mobile phone. Having had no experience with a mobile with Internet capabilities, I explained this to a woman sales assistant. I was shown No phones, no prices of phones were discussed. She was so slick, I left the shop with the dearest phone and a $89 p/month plan which turned out to be $99 p/month, because she put a lot of accessories in front of me which I thought were to be free because then again, no money was discussed. I ended up getting billed for these. I was not shown how to turn on the phone and when I asked her how to use it, she said for $25.00 p/month, I could go back to the shop to be shown how to use it. Less than 24 hours later I went back to the shop to return it and was abused by a male sales person. After over a month of drama, I have finally been able to return the phone to Telstra , cancel the plan and get a mobile phone to suit my needs elsewhere. I would highly recommend ACCC and particularly the Ombudsman for Telecommunications. They were able to sort this out for me. The whole saga was a disgrace. Shame on you Young Telstra Shop.
